What we collect
When you use NearMiles, we may collect:
- Search parameters — origin airport, budget, trip length, and travel style preferences. These are used to return relevant results and may be cached server-side.
- Account information — if you create an account (email address, name). Managed via Supabase Auth.
- Usage data — anonymous analytics (pages visited, search patterns) to improve the product. No personal identifiers are attached.
What we do not collect
- We do not collect payment information directly — any subscription billing is handled by Stripe.
- We do not sell your data to third parties.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Cookies
We use session cookies required for authentication and a small number of analytics cookies (first-party only). You can disable cookies in your browser, though authenticated features will not work without session cookies.
Third-party services
NearMiles integrates with the following services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Supabase (authentication and database)
- Travelpayouts (flight price aggregation)
- Resend (transactional email)
- Stripe (subscription billing, Phase 2)
Data retention
Search parameters are cached for up to 24 hours for performance. Account data is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion by emailing us.
